Daniel's new role involves an in-depth understanding of where technology is going, a clear vision of how the business should progress, and the ability to combine the two. Ultimately, the CTO serves as the link between the technologists and individual program areas fostering a combined approach to disciplined IT investment decisions.

Daniel is a pioneer and thought-leader in the virtualization space with over 15 years of IT industry and client experience, architecting and designing advanced and complex desktop virtualization technology solutions across many verticals. As a recognized expert he has been instrumental in assisting clients with adopting a virtualization strategy that maps their specific business needs to technology solutions resulting in positive bottom-line business impacts.

As one of the designers of virtualization strategy at Foedus, he was instrumental in creating the first client-facing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) architecture. The result was a VDI whitepaper published by VMware that is still widely referenced at conferences world-wide as the foundation for desktop virtualization.

Daniel is a well known speaker at conferences and seminars, including serving as a four-time speaker at VMworld, and authoring numerous white papers. His skills and experiences will help VIRTERA continue to take the industry in new and exciting directions.
